Optical Works 2011
This 19th century flour mill and grain elevator is the site for Eastern Wall, an optical work that paints the old brick surface of the original east exterior wall of the building with multiple views of the eastern horizon, buildings, and sky.

An upper level gallery at the Fort Collins Museum of Art provided the space and the view for a work in which the western skyline was repeated and projected onto the floor and onto a curtain-wall.
Untitled Square, a contribution to the group show ‘Thought Onjects, part of Denver’s Month of Photography show in March and April of 2011, projected a live slice of the sky outside onto a stretched screen on the ceiling of the gallery. Viewers saw the clouds pass and the occasional plane or bird fly overhead in a silent, low-technology spectacle.
